MARKET TREND: The market was steady with feeder cattle $1.00 higher as 600-700 lb. steers brought up to 70.75. Butcher cows were up this week after dropping off last week. NEXT SALE: Thursday, March 3rd, with 700 head of 500-600 weight steers and heifers and 100 head of 700 lbs. simmental steers, with the market expected to be stronger. These are premium grade cattle from local producers. March 17th is also getting some large consignments of cattle with plenty of buyer demand being evidenced for both sales.
