Thursday's market.
MARKET TREND: The market was active with prices
$2 00 $3.00 stronger with light steer calves as high as $74.00.
Butcher cows and bulls were steady to $1.50 higher.
Indications from the Oregon Cattlemen's Association are for
a better market in 1983 with feed costs lower and possibly 10
percent more U.S. beef exports expected.
