The conference will begin at 9:30 a m. in the Let 'Er Buck Room and is scheduled to conclude at 4 Registration will take place between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Cost will be $10, which includes lunch. Coffee and doughnuts will be served during the registration time. At 10 a.m., Fred Kerr, Umatilla Co. Extension agent, will discuss recent beef cattle parasite control work in Uma tilla County. From t0:30 to 11:15 a beef cow-calf herd health program will be re viewed by Dr. Darby Moeller, OSU Extension veterinarian. Dr. Roy Berg of the University of Alberta, Canada will dis cuss new concepts of growth from 11:15 a m. to 12 noon. A beef industry luncheon featur ing barbecued beef by the Kessler family of Milton Freewater will take place 12 r.oon to 1 p.m. The afternoon's programs will begin with Paul Berger of Elanco Corp. His topic will be DMV office gives Nov. office dates The Heppner field office of the Department of Motor Ve hicles will be open throughout the month of November, Mondays through Fridays, 8 a m. to 12 noon and 1 to 5 p.m., except for the following fjays ; November 11, 12, 17 (Fossil office open), 24 and 26. OSU Exten sion economist will lead a discussion on marketing management alternatives at 3 p.m. At 3:45 p.m. the confer ence will wrap-up and ad journ. Those interested in attend ing the conference are asked to call the Morrow County Extension Service office at 6T6-9&42. r Koad Report , The Morrow County Public Works Department has re leased the following Work Report for the weeks ending October 9 and 16. Roads that were bladed and graveled these past two weeks were: Stock Dive, Shobe San ford, French, N. Fork of Wil low Creek and Spring Hollow Road. Roads that were bladed were: Hale Ridge, Redding, Hardman Ridge, Piper Canyon, Van Schoiack, Wy land, Lonerock, Becket-Por-cupine, Fuller Canyon and Hanna Arbuckle Road. Culvert work was done on: Upper Rhea Creek, Black horse, Porcupine, Don Turner and Airport Road. Washouts were still being repaired on Baseline, Black- horse, Upper Rhea Cretk Road and Johnson Grade; Pot holes were patched with cold mix on Pettys Canyon, Pine City to Lena, Baseline to Lindsay, Bert Peck, Cemetery Road and Basey CAnyon Road. In the north end of Morrow County, cold mix patching was done on Homestead and Bombing Range roads.
