Lexington news Delpha Jones 989-8189' mmarmm Holly Rrbekah Lodge met on Thursday evening for , a regular meeting ar.d initia tion. The evening began with a politick chicken dinner for members and their husbands. Initiation started at 8 p.m. with candidates Annetta Pad berg of Iexington (Holly) and John Canady of Heppner (Sans Soucl ). The degree work was done by Delpha Jones, N.G.: Virginia Peck, V.G.; Dorothy Burcham, chaplain; Luella Taylor, Secretary; Catie Padberg, treasurer; Leila Palmer, PNG.; Donna Papineau. O.S.G.; Adelle UTrace, I.S.G.; Uila Mes-, senger, musician; Hilda Yo com. conductor; and Ruth Kobinson, garden. A short business meeting . was held and further plans were discussed for the flea market this Saturday, Oct. 16. Lovely refreshments were enjoyed later, furnished by Sans Souci. Mr. and Mrs. James Bloodsworth are the parents of a son. Kent James, born at St. Anthony Hospital. The young man weighed 6 lbs. 144 or. and joins brothers and a sister at home. Grandparents are Betty Marquardt, of lex ington, Jim and Barbara Bloodsworth of Heppner, Lavanne Bergstrom, The Dalles, great grandmother Kula Bloodsworth and Mr. and Mrs T E. Messenger of Lex ington, John Kobertson and son John Jr , were recent callers at the L K. Huhl home. They make their home in Bend. Other callers were Mr. and Mrs. George Ruff and son Adam from Winston.
