A G-T holiday feature
Orange pontmander from David Sykes, publisher
My sister, Ardeen Clay, made some of the pommanders a
few years ago. I was surprised how easy they were to make.
They give the whole bouse a holiday smell.
Ma terials needed : one orange, one box of whole cloves and
one pair of garden gloves.
Instructions:
1. Using garden gloves, push cloves into the orange.
2. When all cloves are inserted into the orange, tie a
ribbon around the orange.
The pommander will keep from year to year. As the
orange dehydrates, it will shrink, making the clove
arrangement more dense.
