Plans have now been com
pleted, and contact made, lo
make it an exciting and
fun-filled bus trip to view a
numher of interesting sites.
Kirk hum House, a historical
site, Carnegie Center. Whit
man College Campus and
Cultural Center, and Ft. Walla
Walla are scheduled stops.
Carnegie Center displays local
arts and crafts, and has an - Published: Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1,
interesting gilt shop where lttBl
local artists products are sold.
Kirkhum House also includes
an antique shop, and an
interest ins little herb garden in
the hack yard
AIno included is a narrated
bus drive thru some of the
more historical parts of town,
with guide Mary Kock of Walla
Walla to descriie the various
homes and businesses. Time,
too, is included for women to
spend free time in the down
town area to see some of the
newer or renovated businesses.
Luncheon will be at the Squire
Inn, where each may select the
food of their choice.
Costs for the tour are $11 for
bus. $1 donation to Kirkham
House for tour, $1.50 for Ft.
Walla Walla, and your lunch

Heppner from the city park at 7
a.m. with a stop in Lexington
and Irrigon to pick up passen
gers. Those interested are asked to
respond by Oct. 7. including
your check for $13.50 made
payable to Extension Home

The tour is the fall annual event
sponsored by the group to offer
