Gall of Los Angeles, California. The prospective bride graduated from Heppner High School in 1973. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon in 1977. She is currently employed as an Account Executive with Conti, a division of the Continental Grain Company. The groom elect is a graduate of California High School in 1971. Received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Willamette University in 1975. He went on to receive his Masters in Business Administration from Willamette University in 1977. Mr. Gall is also employed with Conti as an Account Executive. A November 28th wedding is planned. County Court News Morrow County Court con vened Wednesday. Sept. 23 and handled the following business : Appointed Jerry Hascall of Boardman as a second repre sentative to the District Man power Advisory Council, an advisory committee for CETA. Appointed Judge Charlotte Gray as Pro Tempore for 5th Justice Court. Discussed the installation of new windows for the court : house. Insulated windows were suggested to replace cracked panes on the first and second floors and to replace the SCHOOL LUNCH MENUS HEPPNER ELEMENTARY Thurs., Oct. 1 - meat pie, stuffed celery, cookie and milk. Wed., Oct. 7- sloppy Joe and bun, green beans, celery chunk, fruit, and milk. Commissioner Dode Krebs made her report on a meeting of the Association of Oregon Counties in Bend which she recently attended. Decided on the purchase of a Kolverg Pugmill. a mobile asphalt plant, for $69,847 from Layton Sales of Witeonville. A total of three bids had been made. Heard the weekly road report from Don Briggs. October I, 1981 SHERIFF'S REPORT 1 The Morrow County Sher iff's Office at the Morrow County Courthouse in Heppner handled the following calls over the past week: On Sept. 23 a one vehicle accident on Hwy 207 about five to six miles out of Lexington was reported. Driver had minor injuries. Morrow County Sheriff's deputies re- sponded. On Sept. 24, Mrs. Mann, Frontage Rd. (near 1-84), reported a stolen 10-speed bicycle. Morrow County Sher iff's deputy responded. On Sept. 25 an ambulance was requested at U & I for a female with severe chest pains. Boardman ambulance responded. On Sept. 26, Manuel Deleon Martiniz, Boardman, was ar rested by a Morrow County Sheriff's deputy on a Hermis ton District Court Warrant for driving while suspended. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. Also on Sept. 26, Ralph Lindsay Williamson, Board man, was arrested by a Boardman City Officer for Felony Driving While Suspen ded. He was lodged at Umatilla City Jail. On Sept. 27, David Sykes, Heppner, requested an officer regarding a burglary. Hep pner City Police responded. Also on Sept. 27, Jerry Arthur Stefani, lone, was arrested for Violation of Restraining Order by a Mor row County Sheriffs deputy. Bail was posted and he was released. Levi Charles Geer A son, Levi Charles was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Robert Geer, Echo, on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner. Levi weighed 9 lbs. 64 oz. Tiffany Colette Hedman A daughter, Tiffany Colette, was born to Second Lietenant and Mrs. Dale Hedman Monday, Sept. 28, 1981 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, where Hedman is stationed with the U.S. Army. Tiffany joins a brother, Endy, five, and a sister, Chaz, two, at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones, and Mrs. and Mrs. Arnie Hedman, all of Heppner. Public Works Dept. hus released the follow ing work report for the week ending Sept. 20: Pot holes were patched with hot mix on Baker East-West Road, Dick Smith - McNubb West, Juniper, Fuller Canyon, Morgan East, Ella, Meadow brook, Bcnge, Social Ridge, lone Boardman, and the Old Columbia River Highway, Roads resealed were 6 miles of the Bombing Range and a short section of Juniper Road. Gravel and base rock were spread on Board Creek Road, Tupper Road, Emma White Road, and Sunflower Flat Road. The 4000 ft. runway at the Lexington Airport is being oiled and rolled. Morrow County will be reimbursed by the Aeronautics Division of the State Department of Transportation for this pro ject. Shop work included repairs on Blade 29, Truck 17, 19, and 14, and the Ingram Roller. The county crusher up Clarks Canyon operated this past week.
