closure as of Sept. 21 by state
and federal officials:
The following requirements
and restrictions will be enforc
ed. Smoking is prohibited while
traveling in timber, brush or
grass areas except in vehicles
on roads.
The above listed lands are
hereby closed to building a
camp, cooking, warming, or
other open fire, including
charcoal fires, except at
improved campgrounds or
locations designated by the
forester. Portable cooking
stoves using liquidified or
bottled fuel are permissible.
Use of chatnsaws in timber,
brush and grass areas for
non-industrial use is prohibit
ed between the hours of 1 p.m.
and 8 p.m.

cluding motorcycles and all
terrain vehicles except
vehicles on industrial opera
tions under permit and
vehicles used in agricultural
work are restricted to im
proved roads. Improved roads
are roads that have been
