They received a halter and lead rope from Wood's West ern World in Hermiston. Becky Evans and her horse "May Edith" took reserve in that class. Max Hellberg and his horse "Humphrey" took champion stallion and received a halter from Murray's Drug in Hepp ner. Pat Smith took Champion Gelding with "Nevada's War rior" and received a halter from Fulleton Horse Trailers in Heppner. Dick Hoffman and his horse "Fla shy Two" took reserve in this class. Helping PGE customers save more than $400,000 a year. This summer, Julie Miller and her co-workers will help PGE customers save more than $400,000 a year in en ergy costs by installing electric water heater wraps in a num ber of communities through out the PGE service area. During the summer, Julie and the rest of the PGE water heater wrap team are going door-to-door giving the water heater wraps with the instal lation free to our customers. With permission, they are also turning down water heater thermostats to a more efficient operating temperature. PGE customers who take advantage of the program will enjoy an annual average savings in water heating costs of up to $21 a year. It saves the customers money and helps postpone the need for building new, higher-cost generating plants now, when we need it most. Electricity costs are going up everywhere, it's not just here. Both private and public utilities throughout the country are facing soaring prices. Higher equipment costs, fuei costs and interest rates have everyone on a tight budget. And the rapid growth of new residential and business customers in our service area is another strain on our existing supply. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a gown of white organza with a satin venice-lace adorned bodice, a Queen Anne neckline, and full bishop sleeves. The skirt fell into a chapel train. Kelly wore a picture hat trimmed with lace and silk illusion. She carried a bouquet of light yellow roses, white baby's breath and white stephanotis. Matron of honor was Susan Gaffney. sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Valerie Boyer. sister of the groom, Laurie Harrison, sister of the bride, and Cheryle Greenup. They wore yellow lace off the-shoulder dresses. Ring bearer was Matthew Gaffney. nephew of the bride. The mother of the bride wore lavender chiffon and the mother of the groom wore pink chiffon. The church was decorated in yellow and white daisies. Best man was Dave Eaton and ushers were Mark Cutsforth, CTiff Harris, and Karl Harrison, brother of the bride. The soloist was Jim Ackley who sang "Longer" and "Love Can Make You Happy". The wedding reception was held at the Elks Club in Heppner. Patti Allstott served punch and Sandy Bennett served cake. They were assisted by Pat Edmundson and Cam Wishart. Suzanne Purchase was in charge of the guest book. Following the reception the couple flew to Bend, Oregon where they stayed at the Inn of the Seventh Mountain. Tney will reside in Lexington where the groom is employed at Gar Avialion. g """ . The bride was graduated from Pendleton High chool in 1977, and Links School of Business in 1978. The groom is a 1976 graduate of Heppner High Schmil and is now employed with C. K. Peck. The couple live at Lexington . 1909 1939 reunion at lono flf?i School A reunion of all lone High School faculty and students who attended from 1909 to 19.19 has been set for August 31 at 10 a.m. at the lone Legion Hall. Meat, rolls, beverages and ice cream will be provided at the hall. Out-of-towners are asked to bring relishes and desserts-, local people are asked to bring main dishes and salads.
