Irvin at her home in Irrigon Wednes day. Lunch was served and the ladies spent the afternoon visiting nfter a short business meeting. The September meeting will be at the home of Florence McMillan with Freda Majeske as co-hostess. Guests for the day were: Leila Palmer, Catie Padberg, Freda Majeske, Irene Pad berg, Joyce Buchanan, Hilda Vacom and Delpha Jones. Mrs. Florence McMillan, who had been visiting with her " daughter and family, returned home with the club members. Other guests for the day were Mrs. Jim Bowen and twins, (Katie and Jim) and Valda Smith of Hermiston. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bur eham and children from Pendleton were callers with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Burcham and friends Sunday. Gladys Van Winkle visited last week with her mother, Sally Lowry, in Mt. Vernon. Annetta Klinger was a visitor last week in Tacoma, Wash, where she was a delegate to the Pacific North west Lutheran Convention of churches. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bur cham were business visitors in Walla Walla Thursday. Venice Hendreckson and Florence McMillan attended a bridal shower for Irene Cool in Pendleton Thursday evening. She and W. Graham will be married at the Episco pal Church in Pendleton July 5. Bob Miller is spending some time at the home of his aunt and uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robin son were recent callers in Goldendale, Wash, with rela tives and friends. A visitor with his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Tellachea, has been Antonia Mayo from California. Holly Rebekah Lodge met Thursday evening for its regular meeting. Plans were discussed concerning the yearly trip to Hood River to the home of member and husband Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Henderson. The ladies also discussed a food sale planned for Saturday morning at the Del's Market. The ladies are planning baked goods so come and see what they have, and en joy a treat for Father's Day.
