Jody Ashbeck was first in the Hat Race, Heather Eck man, second, Shelly Ashbeck, third and in the Figure 8 Race, Jody Ashbeck was first trailed by Marc Angell, second, Travis Greenup, third and Heather Eckman, fourth. The Keyhole Race saw Heather Eckman in first place, Marc Angell in second and Travis Greenup, third. The Mustangs picked up 11 w orkshop on pumps A three-day workshop on Pumps and Pumping will be offered by Blue Mountain Rescuers Select new officers New officers have been elected by Morrow County Search and Rescue. The course covers the oper ation, maintenance, basic theory and nomenclature of centrifugal end suction pumps, vertical turbine pumps and positive displace ment pumps. Instructor of the course is E E. "Skeet" Arasmith. Ara- and pumping smith has had considerable experience with operation and maintenace of pumping instal lation. He is the author of an operators manual on pumps and pumping. Special attention will be given during the workshop to selection and replacement of packing and mechanical seals, preventative mainte nance, repair and replace ment of pump parts, and trouble-shooting of both mech anical and electrical prob lems. The cost of the course is $45 per person. The class will be held in the Pioneer Hall Theatre on the BMCC campus. The Mustangs scored a run in the first with a walk by Lionel Wood who then moved to second on a groundout and scored on a single by Mike Stookey. In the sixth inning, the Mustangs collected two runs with back to back triples by Doug Holland and Mike Stookey and a double by Scott McEwen, scoring a run in the seventh on singles by Lionel Wood. On a walk by Dale Holland, Mike Stookey reach ed first base on an error and the Mustangs scored tying runs in the second and third innings.
