Little League
Opens Saturday
The Willow Creek Little
League opens its season
Saturday with games slated at
the Morrow County Fair
grounds. Opening day action puts the
Angels against the Braves at
Heppner beginning at 1 p.m.
The Dodgers go against the
Giants at 3:30 p.m.
According to Ted Toll,
league president, the league
will consist of four teams with
about 100 boys and girls
participating. An added fea
ture of this year's league is
Condon's membership. Con
don has joined the league
because of the shorter travel
distances to Heppner com
pared to Grass Valley, Toll
said.
A bake sale will be held
Saturday at 10 a.m. at Central
Market in Heppner to raise
money for the league's gener
al equipment fund.
This is the 21st year of the
league's existence and Toll is
convinced Condon's member
ship will give it an added
boost.
Game time for the regular
slate of weekday games is 0
p.m. sharp with infield prac
tice at 5:45 p.m. The Angels
home games will be played at
Condon with all other games
at Heppner. Any change in the
published schedule will re
quire notice to the managers
whose games are being
changed no less than two days
before the change.

THE 6 CASH BUYERS IDEA.
Here's how to really have
clout. Buy with cash instead of
credit. Put yourself in the great
position of being able to pay for
cars, vacations, or home
improvements in advance. And
save the high cost of credit.
Just set aside a little bit each
month and with the 6 cash
buyers idea, that little
investment will grow to a lot.
And give you a lot of peace of
mind.
For example, as little as $30.00
a week for 3 years
produces $5,236.00.
Talk to one of our savings
counselors today about this idea.
It's another great way to patch
up your investment portfolio.
