Morrow, Boardman, Oregon,
will meet in special session on
the 16th day of December, 1978
in the conference room at the
Nomad Cafe, Boardman, Ore
gon at 1 p.m.
The agenda for the special
meeting will include:
1. Acting upon an ordinance
authorizing the issuance of
national rural utilities co
operatives finance corpora
tion guaranteed pollution con
trol revenue bonds (Pacific
Northwest Generating Com
pany Project) interim series,
of the Port of Morrow, Oregon,
in an amount not to exceed
$6,000,000 for the purpose of
partially defraying the cost of
aquiring and constructing cer
tain pollution control facilities
at the Boardman Project,
authorizing the execution and
delivery of a Lease and
Sublease Agreement and a
Bond Purchase Agreement
and Assignment in connection
therewith and making provi
sion for the sale of such bonds.
2. Any other matters to
come before the Port.
A copy of the proposed bond
ordinance will be available for
inspection at the offices of the
Port of Morrow, Boardman,
Oregon, prior to the meeting.

miles of single pole transmis
sion line running on a twenty
foot wide right-of-way from
the Southeast Corner of Sec
tion 11, Township 3 North,
Range 2S EWM ; thence 1 mile
North along Homestead Road

provide greater reliability of

on the enviromental aspects of
the proposed construction,
they should be submitted in

within 30 days of the publica
tion of this notice. Route maps

ed by the Heppner District
Ranger or his representative,
P.O. Box 7, Heppner, Oregon
97836, up to and not later than
10:00 a.m., local time at place
of bid opening December 14,
1978 for an estimated 319 acres
of designed post and pole
material. The minimum ac
ceptable bid per acre is $2.50.
Additional deposit required
for road maintainance (sur
face rock replacement) on
National Forest roads over the
appraised route is $0.64 per
acre. Bid rates and required
deposits will be applied to all
units as provided by the
payment provisions of the
contract. All included timber,
except that not meeting Utili
zation Standards, is subject to
Timber Export and Substitu
tion Restrictions. Bidders are
advised that violations of the
Timber Export and Substitu
tion Restrictions constitute
breach of contract and may
result in contract cancella
tion, refusal to award other
timber sales to violator,
and-or debarment or suspen
sion from bidding on future
timber sales. The required bid
guarantee is $200.00. Applic

are none. The right to reject
any and all bids is reserved.
