The Mustang's season opener will be held Sept. 8 at Pilot Rock. Opening kickcffs for the 1978 football season will mm on Friday, Sept. 8, for all three Morrow County high schools. The Cardinals of lone will play host to Touchet in their opening game, starting at 7:30 p.m. Heppner will travel to Pilot Rock for the Mustangs' opening game. Riverside will host Wahtonka during the 8 p.m. season opener at Boardman. Here is a listing of the season's varsity football schedules for the three county high schools: lone . Hunter af ety program set for Sept 11-14 A hunter education course will be held Sept. 11-14, under the sponsorship of the Morrow. County Search and Rescue Posse. Applications are available at the Sheriff's office in the county courthouse. No fees will be charged for the program. Youths successfully comple ting the course will be issued Hunter Safety Cerfiticates. The Sept. 11-14 sessions will be held from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the courthouse.
