Da Albert returns from
winter travels abroad
Mrs. Ila Albert spent a very
enjoyable winter at Mesa,
Arizona, with three sisters and
a brother who also wintered
there. In February, she and
her brother, Frank Mauk of
Bismark, N.D., went to Los
Angeles, flying from there to
Germany to visit Mr. Mauk's
son, Lt. Col. Gerry Mauk,
Army Intelligence. Lt. Mauk
is stationed at Wurtzburg,
Germany with his family.
Besides having a pleasant
visit with the younger Mauks,
the pair traveled extensively
in Germany, Austria and
France, usually by train or
bus.
After their return to Los
Angeles, Mrs. Albert went to
Redlands, Calif., where she
was met by her daughter and
husband, Feme and Mike
Healy, and their sons of
Roseburg. She returned to
Roseburg with them, spending
a week there. Another daugh
ter, Pat Prock, Heppner, and
her daughter, Tami of Pendle
ton, went to Roseburg for a
weekend visit and brought
Mrs. Albert to her home in
Heppner.
