Winners from left to right, rear, are Mike Jones, crop porduction; Dan Nix, poultry production and fish and wildlife management; Ron Young, placement in Agriculture production. Front row award winners from left are Ann Van Schoiack, outstanding freshman; Julie Grieb; beef production; Krynn Robinson, Star Chapter Farmer, DeKalb award to outstanding senior, diversified livestock production, horse proficiency, and public speaking; Marie Van Schoiack, Star Green Hand and dairy production. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Grieb, not pictured, were made honorary members of the chapter at the banquet. FFAers honored at banquet Heppner Future Farmers of America chapter president Krynn Robinson took home top honors from the Annual FFA Parents and Members Banquet Tuesday night, inclu ding the Star" Chapter Farmer and the DeKalb Award to Outstanding Senior. 'Advisor Hal Whitaker commented when she was presented with the DeKalb, her fifth award of the evening, "Some winners were hard to pick, but not this one." Robinson also won the Horse Proficiency Award, the Diversified Livestock Produc tion Award and the Public Speaking Award. Marie Van Schoiack was named Star Green Hand and also received the proficiency award for Dairy Production, a new honor for a Heppner FFA member. Another double winner, Dan Nix, was presented with the Poultry Production Profi ciency Award and the Fish and Wildlife Management Proficiency Award, two other areas never awarded by the local chapter in the past. Other award winners inclu ded Mike Jones, Crop Produc tion, another new award; Ron Young, Placement in Agricul ture Production; Julie Grieb, Beef Production; and Ann Van Schoiack, Outstanding Fresh men. Approximately 100 guests and 40 members attended NOTICE OF SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET HEARING A public hearing on a proposed supplemental bud gel for County of Morrow for the fiscal year 1977-1978 will be held in the County Judge's office at 10:00 a.m. on March 8th, 1978. Copies of the supplemental budget are with out charge at the office of the County Clerk. The budget may he inspected by interested persons at the office of the County Clerk during regular office hours.
