About with Justine Weatherford Involved great-grandmother Dorrts Graves has smiled at us from printed media twice recently; from a 20-year-old group picture of charter CowBelle officers, and from a more timely cover picture and article in the April Ruralite. Her long-time record of leadership is most admirable. Her many activities and travels surely make a few women feel under-involved and inactive. Although she stays in her small shop and adjoining home most of the time, Ida Farra is another involved person. She is so helpful with her "fixing" abilities. Many folks stop at Ida's shop to absorb some of her good cheer, even when they don't have something tangible needing fixing. She contributes of her good-natured energy to many local organizations. Looks like the coming Spring Extension Tour to Portland sights on April 22 will be sold out soon. The Extension Service tours help so much to get some Heppner-bound persons out into the world now and then. Jack and Phyllis Wallace are moving into a new instant home at the fairgrounds. They will be caretakers there. Their new home releases a nice, two-bedroom apartment and will help housing availability here a little. Plan ahead for that Swim Team spring rummage sale at the Fair Pavilion on April 15 and 16. Almost everyone is pleased about the move the Coast-to-Coast Store is making. However, some members of the A.A.U.W. are a little worried in advance about where they can plan to hold their 1977 pre-Christmas Artifactory. Here it is only two days before Easter Sunday.
