The S p.m. potluck dinner will be followed by a program. Meeting Morrow Co. CB'ers will hold their - next meeting Sunday, Dec. 12, at S p.m. at the home of Bud Springer, MS Jones St. Newcomers welcome. Adult education offered Adult education classes are being offered in Heppner. Thursdays and Saturdays mark adult education classes to improve reading skills, math skills, study for G.E.E. and earn high school dip lomas. The classes take place on Thursdays from 7-10 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1-2 p.m. weekly. The classes are at the Neighborhood Center in Hep pner. VicU Tollefson is the in structor. Due to Christmas Holidays, the classes for Dec. 33 have been moved up a day to Dec. 22. Class will not be held on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1 either. Tree trip The Young Adult Group from the United Methodist Church are meeting at the church at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, to go together to the mountains to cut a Christmas tree for the church. After they return, they will have a supper together and decorate the tree. Because of the increased number of young adults with . children attending Sunday service, nursery care has been arranged for children each Sunday morning. Pastor Tol lefson emphasizes. John Van Winkle The mobile home type structure will be parked in a cement block garage on the corner of Main and Center streets. It will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-4 D.m. in Heppner. It will also be open in Boardman on Monday, Wednesday and Fri day from 10-4 p.m. on Wilson Street. Both are from Hermiston, but have lived in Heppner. The judging will be based on two categories : outdoor decor ations and lights and interior decorations and lights as viewed from the street. Winners from the preceding i two years will not be eligible for prizes. This contest is sponsored annually by an anonymous donor, Kinzua Corporation and Morrow County Grain Growers.
