Following an evening of dancing, caller Darrell Wilson and his wife Ber, Ron and Gloria Davis and Marrianne Palmer put the new members through a comic initiation before a crowd of about 40 people New members are Met and Barbara Owen. Members prepared and packed 21 gilt boxes of cookies and delivered them to elderly prrons in the area. A pot lurk luncheon w as served and a gift exchange as held. Mrs. Norman Nel son reported on the lone 4th grade terrarium project. Next meeting of the Garden flub as Jan tat the home of Mrs. Kenneth Klinger in Lexington. Dec. 21. for their Christ mas party and gift exchange at the Grange Hall. After the party, members prepared the turkey and trimmings for the pot luck supper for Grange members and families at ( 30 p.m. The Christmas program following the potluct included a visit from Santa and musical entertainment by Kevin Gut ierrez, Stuart and Richard Keene and Chuck Nelson. The regular Grange meet ing followed the program. A Watch Party was held Tuesday. Dec. 31. at the Grange Hall for members, families and friends. A pot luck was served at t JO p m . followed by cards. The lone Advisory Com mittee will meet Thursday. Jan. 9. t p m . at the high school. The public is welcome. The Committee for Wo men's Activity will meet Monday. Jan. 11, at the home of Mary Lindsay. This will be an all-day meeting. The community gym pro gram has resumed after the holidays Activities begin each Wednesday evening at 7 p m. at the high school. Visiting last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Crabtree wrre Mr. and Mrs. Don Scheelar and Mark of Salem. Saturday evening the Scbe elars and Crabtrees attended the Willamette-Whitman basketball game in Walla Walla. Scheelar's son. Jim. is on the Willamette team. The lone Lion's Club will meet Tuesday. Jan 14. 7 p.m.. at Beecher's. The Rebrkah Bunchgrass met Dec 5 at the home of G laths Drake for their annual birthday party. Each birthday was celebrated with a gift exchange. Dec.
