With the opening of deer and elk season for bow hunters, quite a few of the Wheeler County Archers have taken part in it. The season is Aug. 24 to Sept. 29. Results of the hunt will appear in next week's paper. Sunday, Local Union 2916 picnic was held at Shelton Park for families and friends in Kinzua, Fossil and Spray. The games were well re presented with Pat Bell and Mike Luper winning first place in the boys relay race. Coming in second were Ver non Terrill and James Parton, third went to the Milton brothers of Spray.
