"On the Road" should be the
title of this column this week,
for that's where Willow Creek

good share of their time
recently. Six local golfers
participated in the Round-Up
Amateur Tournament in
Pendleton, Sunday, June 9.
Lowell Gribble and Morrie
Groves brought home honors
for Willow Creek. Congratu

Also on Sunday a large
group of WC golfers went to
Condon for invitational play.
Gary Hunt led the pack with
an 85 to win low gross and KP.
Doug Gunderson captured 2nd

Dee Gribble won a ball for

thing that indicates the kind of
fine and improving game
she's really playing.
Tuesday, June 18, we will be
hosting ladies from four clubs
in the area. Chairman Dee
Gribble anticipates approxi
mately 50 golfers will attend
this event. Coffee and dough
nuts will be served at 8:30;
tee-off time will be 9:00 with a

all local female members to
