The carnival will include a family-style spaghetti dinner, hot dogs and refreshments; carnival booths, bingo, and a dance at 10 p.m., featuring The Streakers (Jim Ackley and Matt Greenup.) Parents of band students decorate and man the booths and kitchen. Regular features of the carnival will include the dunk tank, country store and the jail. Door prizes will be offered during the evening. A drawing will be held for a TV set with proceeds to go toward the 6th grade outdoor school. Pastor Charles Ashby of the Community Baptist Church will be the speaker. Pastor Robert Schmoll and members of the Assembly of God will join in the service. A sunrise breakfast will follow. A film entitled, "A Thief in the Night," will be shown at the A.C. Houghton School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Sun day. The film is sponsored by the Assembly of God. The community is welcome to attend. The Park Drive-In in Irrigon is now under the management of Mr. and Mrs. William Knight, who have a catering service and who specialize in doughnuts and pastries. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wilson, the owners, plan to spend the summer in Alaska, but want to finish their new home before they leave. The first trailer moved into their Mobile Home Park this past week. One will be the Justice of the Peace office. Senior citizens who attended the dinner at the Irrigon Lions Clubhouse at 4:30 p.m. Mon day are reminded to bring their own table service. The State Board of Heath requires this since there is not an electric dishwasher at the clubhouse. Those who play bingo are asked to bring a white elephant gift to donate to the game. Queen Idella Zetter and her sister, Princess Ida Zetter of Hermiston, and Princess Robin Stewart of Irrigon who were members of the 1973 court of the Northwest Pee Wee Rodeo Association, were present.
