The Wrang lers cow rutting contest had 75 entries for the two-day event. The open horse show was won by Elma Prom, owned and ridden by Shirley Burtlett, Hermiston. Won $234.50. U3' points. Runner-up In this event was Leo Tolo, owned and ridden by Jerome Jefferson, Nuches, Wash. $2,000 non-pro event is open to horses not having won over, $2000 and ridden by a non professional. Event was won bv The Maestro, owned and ridden by Ralph Beamer. 142 points. 2nd was Leo Tolo, owned and ridden by Jerome Jefferson. 141 points. $1000 novice won by Holey Dollar, owned by McGuire & Hays, Klumath Fulls, Bill Hays up. 142 points. 2nd won by Doc s Nimpish. Owned and ridden by Ed Smith, Escalon, Co. 141 points. $750 novice won by Lucky Ricketta. Owned & ridden by Mike Maynard, Forest Grove. 141 points.
