The ceremony took place down at the Union Pacific Railroad Depot. It was brief but very thrilling. She said that Mrs. Truman and Margaret were both most gracious. I'm sure no more gracious than Kite was. President Truman had addressed a large gathering and the presentation came at the conclusion of the president's speech. Too Bad I was terribly disappointed to have the serial levy go down. I think it is so important that the schools provide more voca tional training. This is a field where jobs are available. Engineers may have trouble getting jobs but not plumbers. It is service people that we need to train and no where is there a better place to start than in high school. A boy bored to tears with Senior English may come to life in a mechanics class. Besides Serial Levies may cost a little more but for only a short time and best of all, it ALL goes for construction and NONE of it for interest. I hate interest with a passion... at least when I'm- paying it. MOVING?? Local or Long Distance Frer Estimates Call Gene Orwlck 989-8586 ' or Condon 384-2292 Agents (or United Van Line.
