M.C.G.G., 2515, Petersons Jrly., 2510. There will be many changes in this league in the forthcom ing weeks. An uninsulated or poorly insulated house can lose or waste 50 to 60 of its heat. Doors or windows that are drafty should be weather stripped or caulked. Storm doors and storm windows will cut heat require ments a considerable amount. Check chimneys, exhaust fans, range hoods, clothes dryers and fire places. These should be equipped with self closing dampers as they are a common source of heat loss. Heating energy costs are increased about 50 for each degree of heat above 72 degrees. Maintain lower bedroom temperatures Comfort can be maintained more economically with electric bed covers than with room heaters. Maintain a humidity level of 40 to 50 and a constant thermostat setting.
