The Healys enjoy llolde ttecause he is so versatile. He wasn't in the Wrangler's Horse Show last year because I'alli, Queen of the Hound I'p, had to attend an out of town appearance. Mrs. Healy won a Trophy donated by Floyd Jones, who retired last year's trophy, and a horse blanket donated by I' W. Mahoney. Reserve Champion Perfor mance was Hexall's Baldy owned by Hob and Beverly Sleagall, ridden by Rob Stea gull of Lexington. He won a horse blanket dotiated by Fred Mankin, past Horse Show 1 Superintendent. t ninnvrs in me junior lau Roping were Jill Kugg first with a time of 6.S. She won a pair of spurs donated by Fulleton Chev. Second was Pavid Steagall of Lexington with a time of 7. Karla Weatherford Karla Weatherford arrived home Tuesday evening to visit her folks, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Weatherford. She has worked this summer as a student therapist at Jefferson House in Tacoma. She will enroll for her second year at the Univer sity of Puget Sound this fall with a major in Occupational Therapy. VACATIONING Mrs. Edna Bailey is vaca tioning at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Thomas and with their daughters at Dayton, Wa. The Thomas' formerly lived at Spray. Mrs. Bailey hadn't seen them for a number of years. Mrs. Bailey's daughter and family were recent visitors here in Heppner. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Harris, Troy, Sheila and Dezi are living at Martin, South Dakota. They spent 10 days here visiting family and friends.
