For Queen Susie its law and horses Queen Susie French is in her glory this week as she helps move the cattle to the mountains. They take the cat tle on the Five Mile Reserve on Johnson Creek and near Ellis Guard Station. This event she can't miss. She has completed her first year in secretarial science at BMCC and is employed tins summer at Walton i Yokom, attorneys in Pendleton. Camp 5 women work on community projects The regular meeting of the Camp 5 Women Club was held Wedneda evening at the Community Hall with Presi dent He Hard w icii in charge. Pat VanArsdalewas hostess for the evening with lght members present. Linda l.ucas reported on the camp cleanup and dinner. t was voted to accept die amendments as changed. Ca rol Thomas resigned as treasurer and Carol Norns was elected to fill the va cancy. Pat Van Arsdale was appointed to purchasing agent, replacing Carol Tho mas. Hose Hardwick, Linda Lucas, and Hetty Murdock will see about getting anarea for playground and the necessary equipment. Weekend guests ot Mr. and Mrs. Kendrick Dunlap were Mr. and Mrs. Perry Cantrall of Likely, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cantrall of Grass Valley. They left on Sunday and shortly after Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dunlap and son of Grass Valley arrived to visit the DuiUaps.
