Tho truck as delivered b Ken Good and he conducted training sessions Tuesday and Aed. The unit replaces a 1942 Chev. truck ith a 300 gal. tank awl pump. It brings ater available on heels to about 2300 gallons per min. accord ing to Fire Chief DonAdams. The purshase as financed by an 8 year serial levy and is the result of much planning on the part of the District Board. A fire house as built several years ago hich ill house the 3 units oned by the District. The Fire District as formed in 194G. Among the first to be organized in Ore gon. Much credit for foresight is due past officers. Present Community plans look for ward to an adequate water supply for fighting within the city.
