Sixteen people com pleted tht tight week course at tht Islington School, taught by t it Curtis. Dur ing tht eight weeks, each class member or team tore down a chair to tht frame, then repaired and built It back up and covered the chair with new fabric A few chairs wert com pletely finished at tht end of tht courst. Some needed a few hours of work to com plete them. This is a mijor accomplishments be cause only one or two of the class members had done any upholstering before. The chairs which left tht class room at the end of the course bore no resemblance to the faded and worn pieces that were brought In. Completing the course were Marie McQuarle, DUnne Cerklng, Ann Doherty, Jerry Doherty. Corliss Boner, Col leen Calliher, Nora Bellamy and Harriet Batty of Hep pner; Kathy Clark of Ruggs; Millie Raucb of Lexington; Nancy Ekstrom, Dot Halvor sen, Anna Lee James, Mary Llndsey, Lois Messengerand Bev. Wilson of lone. Marv Cerklng and Don Bellamy helped their wives. The most popular fabric was velvet. Half of the chairs in the class were covered in varying patterns' and colors ranging through the greens and golds to the bright orange pattern on Corliss Boner's antique sofa, rich red on Dot Halvorsen'S channel-baked chair and rich blue on Har riet Battys over-stuffed chair. Drama Class To Do Play The Drama WorkshopClass will present a three-act play "Plaza Suite" by NellSimon, Miy 4,5 at 8:00 in the High School Cafetorium. i Director Dennis McKay has caste students from the Drama Workshop Class for this comedy about three dif ferent and amusing situations that occured in a suite of the Plaza Hotel. The characters for act one are Linda Clough and Dave Echman as Mr. and Mrs. Nash and Janet Gentry as Mr. Nash's beautiful secre tary. Act two spotlights Robert Hughes and Mary Abrams.
