Keynote speaker was Dr. Kay burn Collis of rcndloton who gave a piesei.talion on the infectiousness, treatment and management of tuberculosis. There have been some remark able changes in the treatment of tuberculosis. Other speakers were Jean P. La.N'eve, Portland. Fund Raising director for OTIiD, Tony Haher lach, program director for the Eastern Region Council discuss ed programs geared to combat ting tuberculosis, emphysema anil other respiratory diseases in Oregon. Mrs. Sweeney also attended a seminar on a similar program recently. Passes Ready for Senior Citizens Heppnei's basketball fans (5 and older may pick up their senior citizen passes at the Ileppner High School office. These passes are good for all Mustang home games and are issued free of charge to local fans who qualify. They will be available only at the high school office which aks that fans call in person to pick up their passes. Shawna Springer. 18 month I old daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Dave Springer will go to Port land next Monday for a medical checkup on her finger. She may go in for surgery to replace a cut tendon in her index finger of her right hand so she can again bend her finger. She will be at the Good Samaritan Hos pital. A cut on her finger recently severed the tendon which could n't be operated upon until the cut had healed. Anyone interested In defens ive driving classes? Time is run ning out for pre-registering to attend! Classes will be offered Jan. 18 20-23 27 in either lone, Ilepp ner or Lexington, if there is suf ficient local interest.
