Irrigon Park Gets Grant Senator l'ackwood's office called Wednesday with good news about the Irrigon Park. The Irrigon Park and Uccreation District is to receive a grant of $4,975 from the Bureau of Out door Recreation for continued development of the park. Funds will provide for picnic facilities, a shelter, ball field, play ground equipment, swim ming and water skiing floats on the river and a bike rack. The club is proud of heir accomplishments at the 1971 Morrow County Fair. With all 13 members exhibiting they brought home the following non- firs: Ilordsmanshin trouny, dm place; Judging team, high point judge; champion junior snow man: champion Columbia Ram; Champion and Reserve Champ ion Arums female: Champion Shorthorn female, 13 blues, 13 reds and 2 white ribbons. The club voted to give the $5.00 won in the judging con test to the County if it iunu.
