Thursday August 12. 1971 7 KINZUA NEWS Mrs. Don Wilson and Mrs. Jack Wilsey were business vis itors to The Dalles last Wednes day. Mrs. Bonnie Kelson and Mrs. Molly Day were hostesses to their pinochle club Wednesday evening in the First Grade room. High and pinochle went to Mar ietta Wilsey, low to Pat Mc- Minn, and the second pinochle to Sue Mattlson. Others playing were Evle Luper, Deena Reid, Lauri Hire, Melba Mitchell, Cindy Combs, Ruth Carey, and Irene Samples. The hostesses served strawberry fluff for dessert. Mr. and Mrs. Don Slinkard and Cindy Bowman went to Bend Saturday on business and while there to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oyler and son Don. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Espinola and family of La Grande spent several days of last week visit ing with Mr. and Mrs. Jiggs Bowman and family. Richard Mortlmore took a group of girls to Eugene Sun day where they will attend Cheer Leaders school. Those go ing, were Karen Mortimore, Sara Bowman, Teresa Green, and1 Bil 11 o Marler of Fossil. Mr. and Mrs. Myron DeMeritt and grandson of Drain visited last Tuesday with Frank De Meritt Mrs. Linda Lucas was 1 in Heppner last Tuesday for furth er msdical attention. ' , Earl .Norris and Herschel Mur dock were business visitors .to Richland, Wn. Saturday.' Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jones and son Bobby were business visit ors to Heppner last Saturday. Spending the weekend visit ing with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Dun lap were Mr. and Mrs. David Sentry of Susanvllle, Calif. Mr. and Mrs.' Denzil White went -tp Portland over the week end to do some shopping and while there visited with Mr. and Mrs. Albert White. Visiting Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Norris were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Medlock and son Mike of Post Falls, Idaho. The Medlocks are former residents of Camp 5 and were on vacation.
