Fire Crew Boss Training Given A Fire Crew Boss Training session was noia in Uktah on May 5, 6 and 7, 1971. Employ ees received training in (1) Ele mcnts of leadership; (2) Crew boss fire suppression tasks; (3) rire suppression equipment (4) Burning out; (5) Fireline coaching procedure: (6) Oman lzatlon for fire suppression; (7) Ciood management practices (8) Safe practices under blow up conditions (9) Crew welfare and jol) safety; (10) Business management practices. The objectives of this train lug is to provide the employee with knowledge and skills nec essary to supervise a crew on any kind of fire situation. BMCC Slates Commencement Speaker Former Congressman Robert Duncan will address Blue Moun tain Community College gradu ates t the annual commence ment services to be held on the campus June 6. Mr. Duncan is now a practic ing attorney in Portland. Scheduled to graduate this year are 200 students. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on the lower campus. The Rev. Charles Slaughter, First Assembly of God Church, Pendleton, will de liver the invocation.
