All interested youth and their parents are Invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Sargent have volunteered to lead the club, Members will be welcomed for sheep, swine, beef, dairy or rab bit projects. The Sareents are former Wheeler County 4-H leaders with many years experience, They have many good Ideas to present on how a club can be developed for youth who live in town but desire to be active in a livestock club. With summer vacation ap proachlng a 4-H short term pro lect could be very worthwhile! Livestock must be owned 90 days prior to fair. If this idea is appealing at tend the meeting on possibili ties to form an "in-town" live stock club! Spray Marathon Comes Saturday On Saturday, May 15, the Spray Recreation and Amuse ment Club will hold the Sixth Annual Open Half-Marathon Run, distance of 13 miles, com mencing at Service Creek and proceeding along Highway 19 to the finish line In front of the Spray Rimrock Cafe. Trophies will be awarded to the first three fink hers in three age divisions: Div. 1 18 and under; Div. 2- 19-25; Div. 3 20 and over. All who finish the run will receive a certificate of accomplishment Accommodations for dressing will be provided at Spray High School. All runners must report there before 7:30 a.m. to com plete registration. Transporta tlon will be provided for par- Iclpanls from Spray to Serv ice Creek at 7:30 a.m. if need ed. The town of Spray has lit tle overnight accommodations and runners should plan ac-' cordlngly, (sleeping bag, camp er, etc.!!) Starting time for the run is 8:00 a.m. in front of the Serv ice Creek Cafe. Eligibility The run is open to: Any amateur; any physical ly fit man or woman 18 years of age and older; youngsters nder 18 years with parents or guardian's written consent. Rules Runners must complete regis tration forms prior to starting time. All entries must be ac- companled by a doctor's certifi cate of health.
