Dixie MeDanlel of Jlaraman won blue ribbon In her Showmanship claM and a rod ribbon In her obedience dus with JlCfi. Eric Clow won blue ribbon ana w M-rve Champion In Showman nhlp class and won a blue rib bon and Reserve Champion in his Obedience Class with Shot y. Carmen Clw won a blue ribbon in her obedience class and a purple ribbon for Cham pion In Showmanship with Peg p.y. Kerry Coppock went over as n n observer but did not hhow her dog. The Heppner 4-II mem bers were competing with 8 dogs in a class. There were about 60 70 kids at the match. The Dog Club Is planning a Fun Match during the Morrow County Fair time. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Oveson and sons Kreg and Ross of Green Valley, Calif., visited several days at the homes of Oveson's mother, Mrs. M. I. Oveson, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Black. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Allen and children Stacio. Stuart. SteDha nie and Scott of Weston were weekend visitors at the home of Allen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlhur Allen. Alaskan Visitors Mr. and Mrs. Dean King of Fairbanks, Alaska, have been visiting the past ten days at the nomc or Mrs. King's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Baker. Week end guests at the Baker home were their daughter, Mrs. George Boicc and children Cynthia, Car leen and Mike of Kennewick, Wash. King left for home Sun day in a new Scout, accompa nied by Bill Bates, who will re turn by plane in a week. Mrs. King will go home by plane Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ott Steinke and Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Steinke of Olcx were Sunday visitors at the home of the men's sister, Mrs. Ralph Earwood. The eluh will snonsor an Eas ter Fp Hunt at Riverside High School April 10 at 10 a.m. for children of preschool age through the fourth grade. Mrs. Rod Flm? will be chairman in charge, assisted by Mrs. Peck and Mrs. Bill Bates. Mrs. Dewey West, Jr., has been nnnointed district represen tative of the annual Cancer Drive, and the club will work on the drive here this week. Mrs. West reported on the winter board meeting held here March 15 at Dodge City. The 7th District of the Ore gon Federation of Women's Clubs will host the state con vention this vear at Sun River out of Bend, and the club here tneether with the Arlington and Stanfleld clubs are making the favors for the atlair. The next meeting will be held following the Scholar ship Brunch. Seattle Group to Entertain "The One Wav". a croup or &l high school teenagers from Se attle, Wash., will be here at the Boardman Community Church the week of April 6-10. They will be spending their spring vacation here, sharing their mu sic and skits which they have performed In many churches in the Seattle area. Easter Services There will be an early morn ing Easter service at Boardman Community Church Sunday, starting at 6 a.m. Coffee and hot rolls will be served follow ing the service. Regular services will follow at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. An Easter program wil be presented by the Sunday School at the 9:45 service. Parents and friends are inivted. They went to Caldwell, Idaho for the Idaho Brittany Club Spring Field Trial. Daisy won the Open Derby Stake over 26 other dogs. She received a blue ribbon and tro phy. Jack ran her.
