Fri.lav nlirht the JV's pulled out a 28-23 win over the JV team from Condon. Saturday night the Heppner Colts saw their first loss but still had a good night. Umatilla wrapped up 50 points to the Colts' 47. It ls a wonder the Colts were able to win the Condon game. They only shot and made 11 field goals and were only able to find the bucket for 6 points from the eift line. So. as can be told bv the score, it wasn't good shooting that won the game. Although Alan McCabe pump ed in 22 points Saturday night, this was not enough for the Ba by Mustangs to stop the Uma tilla JVs. The score teetered back and forth. In the first half, the Colts were down by 8; at the end of the third quarter, Heppner was up by 2 and a hot fourth quar ter put Umatilla In the lead by 3 to bump the JV's. Alan McCabe led the Colts in the scoring for the weekend with 30 points. Craig Munkers followed with 16, Don Papineau 11, John Sumner 7, Bill Jepsen 5, Bruce Bergstrom and Dale Hedman both had 2 and David Eckman finished the scoring with 3 points. NOTICE The annual meeting of the Willow Creek District Improve ment Company will be held Monday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Morrow County Court house for the purpose of choos ing directors and officers for the coming year. - WHO'S WhO l PEHDLET0N 1970 ZEPHYR ELECTRIC, INC. 333 8.
