cently went to Lincoln City for
a weekend vacation trip. They
met their oldest son, Gary and
family.
On July 15, Mr. and Mrs. Jones
entertained in honor of their
son, Eay, who was leaving for
his new Job at John Day. Pres
ent for the event were Mr. and
Mrs. Mark Murray, Mr. and Mrs.
Ron Jones and Mark Brown and
Mike Bunch.

Calif.
It seems about the time that
Jeff arrived, the Marchek's St.
Bernard had a litter of 13 pups
under their house!
Greenfield Grange Has Picnic
Members of Greenfield Grange
held their annual picnic Sunday
afternoon at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. W. G. Seehafer. There
were 33 present. Special guests
Included Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Weatherford of Heppner, Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Coe and daughter
Melissa of Redmond, Larry How
ell of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Mr.
and Mrs. Steve Highley and sons

After the picnic the Women's
Activity Committee of the
grange held a short business
meeting.
The next meeting of the la
dies group will be Aug. 12 at
the home of Mrs. Chub Warren,
and the next meeting of the
grange will be at the hall Aug.
15 at 7:30 p.m.

have returned from a four-weeks
trip visiting relatives in Mich
igan, Illinois and Indiana. They

Miles, Mich., and helped them

states attended the affair. They
