The Princess Michelle dance will be held this Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Fair Pavilion with Page 12 making the music. ' Princess Michelle To Host Dance (Continued from page 1) helped her dad move cattle and lately has been doing it by her self. Fair Trophies She has been active in 4-H. She's been in sewing, cooking, horse and livestock. She won the Juniof Showmanship trophy in 1964 with her sheep. She won the Intermediate Horse Show manship in 1967. In 1964, she was in a team demonstration to set an elegant table. She re ceived a Betty Crocker Cook book for this. She only took sew ing for one year. She likes to sew and makes some of her own Clothes and some Pi Nancy's school clothes. Presently she Is making new curtains for her bedroom, She likes details. She has C'r ganized the family photo album and brought it up to date. Be fore school starts she plans to antique her bedroom set. When asked "What about boys"? Her answer was, "I like 'em all". She loves to dance and reads all the time. She is en joying "Gone With The Wind" and is looking forward to see ing the show the first possible chance. "I like belnc on the Court", she said. She had a taste of "Court liff" when she was Pen nant bearer for four years with the last two of them as perma nent bearer and went with the Court. This year she is riding "Hot waiKer , a quarter norse. He Is five years old and is good on his "figure 8's". While in high school at Hepp ner she was a member of the Pep Club, FHA and Girls' Leaeue. They visited the Stanley Bavin. Salmon and Locksaw areas. At Iucll. Ida ho, they visited Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Taylor, former Inigon res idents. They were Joined there by Mr. and Mrs. Vern Dillon of Irrijjon. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Coy of Toronto, Kan., spent several (lays here with his brother V. F. Coy. Homer Coy is a teacher Mrs. Clista Venard Is now em ployed as bookkeeper at First National. She has worked in banks and was associated with banking through her husband, the late John Venard. They included Martha King, Linaa Ball, Jodl Noble, Dale Llndell, Diane Rnsh and Sharon Stewart, the latter from Irrigon. Pastor King will be a counselor at the camp this week. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Jensen entertained relatives at their home with a potlucK dinner honoring their daughter Renec'a birthday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs, Bob Parson and family, of Bcaverton; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Connor and family; and Renee'g grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Nash. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Monuhan were Mrs. J. K. Paulson, Lake Oswego, and Martha Doyle, New York, who started on a Canad ian trip following their stay here. Both ladles are sisters to Mrs. Monnhan. Other visitors in cluded Mrs. Monahan's brother, John Kilkenny, and a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hoffman, of La Grande, who all Joined in celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Monahan"s son Bills birthday.
