Bogard and did some fishing on

Mrs. Daniel Anderson known

has passed all 6 tests for her
GED certificate for graduation
from High School. This has been
a do-it-yourself project for her
with assistance from Mrs. W. W.
Weatherford one day a week for
the past several months.
Mrs. Grace Martin took the
studies and passed her exams
late in May. The classes were
set up by Pat Brlndle and the
Neighborhood Center.

Danny Marshall were catchers.
The game was the longest one
of this year's season. It started
at 6 and ended shortly before 9.

Mrs. Harnett Honored
Three Oregon historians have
been named as recipients of the
Henry C. Collins Award, given
by the Oregon Historical Soci
ety for distinguished work In
the collection and preservation
of local history.
The awards, which are made
annually, have gone to Mr. and
Mrs. Harley Hasklns, Lebanon,
and Mrs. Rachel Harnett, Hepp
ner.
Mrs. Harnett won her award
for her museum work In Hepp
ner and other eastern Oregon
historical projects.
