Mrs. Delbert Barzee, Miss Joyce Barzee, Mrs. Carl Camp blel, and PhuI Barnett of Con don went to Portland Thursday where they were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boyer of Cornelius. Mrs. Camp bell left Friday monlng to fly to Hawaii where she will Join her husband who is stationed there with the U. S. Army. Mr. and Mrs. Robert- Kelso went to Portland Wednesday night where they were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bel! and family. They returned home Thursday after Bob had a med ical checkup. Rick Kandle Is home on leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kandle. Rick has been sta tioned at Redstone Arsenal In Alatama. Also home now is Bruce Kandle, who had under gone knee surgery in The Dal les. Mrs. Richard Harper and Mrs. John Wil:Sey went to Madras Monday to take Mrs. Darlene Beasley to get the bus to her home in California. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rollis were business visitors to Pendle- A correction to last week's news: The silver tea service for which the Camp 5 Womens Club sold tickets was won by Lonnie Marler of Fossil, a brother of Dod Marler. Mrs. Ed Wham and daughter Vlckl were weekend shopping visitors to Portland. Joe Bowman and Cecil Over man of Portland spent the week end here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jiggs Bowman. On Satur all went to The Dal les where they met.Sgt. Victor L. Bowman who arrived that day on leave from Vietnam. They all went to Echo to watch Wheeler play Echo, returning to Klnzua that evening. Vic will be home for 45 days. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jones and son Bobby were In Heppner Sat urday for business and to do some shopping.
