Mr. Wilson is visiting the rur
al areas in an effort to find
human resources that can be us
ed to an advantage in treating
those with mental problems.
"Tensions build up, he says
"and sometimes all the person
needs is someone to have cof
fee with, or stay with the child
ren while they get out or some
one to show them "just plain
neighborliness'."
He is searching for a solution
of problems In the rural areas.
He mentioned the use that
could be made of the IED closed
circuit TV if it were to be
brought into Morrow County.

He said a number are being
treated at the clinic from Mor
row county. He stressed how
helping disturbed parents can
help the children. Treatment can
take many paths into vocation
al rehabilitation, child welfare,
mental health, child guidance,
marriage counselling and alco
holism. The regular meeting of the
Welfare Commission followed.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gray are
parents of a son, Terry bem,
bom Nov. 1 at St. Anthony'?
Hspital in Pendleton. He weigh
ed 7 lb., UK oz. He Joins two
sisters at home, Susan 7 and
Arlene 4.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs
Merritt Grav and Mrs. Gene
Gray is the great grandmother,
all of Heppner.

Mrs. L. D . Tibbies returned
to Henoner Monday from Mis
souri, called by the death of
er mother, Mrs. verna
Turnaee. Mrs. Tibbies spent
seven weeks with her mother

visited in Heppner in years past.
