Rhoades, new registrar at the University. The entire registration process will be conducted in McArthur Court and adjacent gymnasiums in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. The registration period will be from Wednesday, September 24, through Friday, September 26. Move to Springfield Mrs. Rodney W. Brown, the former Tamara Smith, and daughter, Amy, have moved from Yakima, Wn., to Spring field, awaiting the arrival of S-Sgt. Brown from overseas ser vice later this month. He will be released after 11 months in Vietnam, and will study at the university or uregon, and will meei nis nine-month-old daugh ter for the first time. The next meeting is in De comber, with Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Jones as hostesses, Holly Rebekah Lodge met last Thursday evening for the first meeting of the fall season. Plans were made for the assembly president's visit in October, with committees being appointed for this and for the District Conven tion in Heppner. As part of the Hearing Con servation Program, Maternal and Child Health Section, Ore gon State Board of Health, a qualified audiometrlst will test the hearing acuity of kinder garten, first, third, fifth, and seventh grades, as well as re ferrals from any other grades made by teachers or the nurse if a hearing problem is suspected. Hearing testing will be done In Heppner schools on Tuesday. September 23. and on Wednes day, September 24, at A. c Houghton school at Irrigon, Riverside Jr. and Sr. High school at Boardman, and at the lone schools.
