At the meeting, the board was told that advance tickets for the shows are now on sale at Hepp ner business establishments. Tickets are priced at $2.00 for adulls and $1.00 for children for the Saturday and Sunday after noon shows, while Saturday nignt prces are si.uU for adults and 50c for children. utner routine business was discussed at the meeting, rang ing from making medical ar rangements to making publicity arrangements. The directors discussed hiring a trick roper to perform during tne aiternoon shows, but defer red signing a contract until more information is received An arrangement between the Heppner show and one at Tgyli Valley which conflicts with dates was also discussed. Saddle bronc riders would be shuttled by plane during the two rodeos to allow more com petition in both shows. Under the set-up used last year, bronc riders would ride at the beginning of the Tygh Val ley show, then fly to Heppner to compete in the last of the show here Saturday. Sunday, the situation would be reversed. No definite arrangements have been made, it was noted at the meeting. The board also approved a $10 entry lee lor the cowgirl race making fees required on all rac es except pony races. Director Don Evans explained the fee would allow more definite plans lor the race. Miss Cathie Cone of Eugene, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sherman, Jr., of For est Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Sherman of Aloha, Mr. and Mrs B. R. Stevens of Twin Falls. Ida ho, and Floyd Stevens of Port land. Memorial services at the Riv erview Abbey and Mausoleum Chapel in Portland on Monday afternoon, June 30, were attend ed by a large number of rela tives in the valley, including the mother, Mrs. Willa Sherman of Forest Grove, and manv friends from throughout the state. Vault interment was in the tulip room of the abbey, with Sweeney Mortuary of Heppner directing the arrangements. Con ducting the services were a cousin of Mr. Sherman, the Rev.
