the Camp 5 Womena Club was
held last Wednesday at the
Camp 5 Community Hall with
President Dclores Wimer In
charge. There were nine mem
bers present and the monthly
hostesses were Marie Hulett and
Frances While.
Scholarship applications were
read and discussed and one was
chosen to receive the scholar
ship which will be presented at
graduation time. A report on the
very successful card party of
March 29 was given by Marie
Hulett and Betty Murdock.
The refreshment stand at the
lake on the opening week-end
of fishing season was discussed
and Dolores Wimer will be in
charge of the stand. Members
voted to buy new tablecloths for
their tables at the hall and Ruth
Jordan is to make the purchase.
There will be a card party at the
Camp 5 Community Hall this
coming Saturday, April 12, with
Ruth Jordan and Carol Norris as
hostesses. The door prize was
won by Ruth Jordan. Refresh
ments were served by the host
esses with Marie Hulett In
charge of the craft session,
which was making flowers of
burlap and teasel.
Mrs. Vcrlin Conner was In
The Dalles last Wednesday for
medical care and went on to Al
bany to spend until Sunday vis
iting with Mr. and Mrs. Steve
Benson and with David Lovell.
