main business of the afternoon,
with Mrs. Florence McMillan
named chairman; Mrs. A. F. Mil

er. Plans were made to send a

ber 7, which will feuture fancy
work, aprons and homemade
pastries. Also, it wus decided to
donate articles to the Oregon
Stale hospiial and are to be left
at Del's Market or brought to

Mrs. Florence McMillan spent
a couple of days last week in
Pendleton at Ihe home of her
son-in-law and daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. Bub Cool, and family.
Mrs. Bob Davidson underwent
minor surgery at a hospiial in
Portland last Monday. She vis
ited her son-in-law and daugh
ter. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Flint,
and family, for the remainder
of the week, with the Flints
bringing her home. Mr. David
son returned home last Wednes
day. Holly Rebekah Lodge met for
Its regular meeting on Thursday-
night of last week with Noble
Grand Kuih Kobinson presiding.

anti-submarine warfare sup
port aircraft carrier CSS York
town in the Pacific.
The entire NBC-TV "Get
Smart " crew was aboard the
carrier for a two-day filming
session. Scheduled to be "air
ed" In early December, the
slorv centers around the two
week active dulv tours of Ihe
"chief" and "86". During (he
episode, "Out of CONTROL,"
many Yorktown crewmen ure
seen at their Jobs.
The carrier Is back to nor
mal now, conducting Ihe
highly technical job of quali
fying Navy pilots in aircraft
carrier landings.
