Carol had left last January to go to Iran where she attended school, then ufter the close of school In May she has toured Europe, visiting also the Scan dinavian countries where she ha relatives. This past week-end Mrs. Nls tad. Warren and Carol were in Eugene to move Wurren's things home and on Sunday Warren end Carol left for Denver, Colo., to make arrangements for hous ing for when Warren enters Hiss Seminary on September 9. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Turner of St. Helens spent the week end visiting with Mrs. Bert Hoover. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parton and sons, Sam Parton and Owen Parton of Parkdale, left Friday evening for Bryson City, N. C, upon receiving word of the ser ious illness of their sister. Going to Klamath Falls Fri d8v to attend the Babe Ruth Little League Games were Mrs. Don McConnell and children, Mrs. Milt Boring, and Mike Ball. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Browning and Mrs. Mae Watson of La Grande returned to Kinzua last Thursday from a week's vaca tion trip to points of interest in Nevada and Claifornia. They all went on to Pendleton Friday to bring Linda Browning home arid from where Mrs. Watson went on to La Grande. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jifgs Bowman and family were Mr. and Mrs. Bud Laite and son Tony of Bend, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bowlin and fam ily of Pasco, Wash. Sara and Cindy Bowman went home with the Bowlins for a visit. Mrs. Laite will be remembered here as Barbie Murphy.
