Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Day and family spent Sunday In Mitchell where they visited Mrs. Day's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Blann. Mr. and Mrs. Doyall Hubbell and family went to Mosier Sun day where they visited with Mr. nnd Mrs. Rubin Merrltt of Mi ami, Okla., who were visiting there. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Eversole were hosts last Monday even ing for a barbecue party at their nome. Those enjoying this evening were Mr. and Mrs. Pete howe and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Luper and family, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Sargent and dau ghter Christi, Dale Sargent, Mr. and Mrs. Larry O'Neall. Mrs. Steve Harrison and child ren, Chris and Kellie, returned to their home at Idaho Falls, Idaho, Monday after having spent ten days here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hines. Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Wright and four children of Martinez, Calif., visited from Friday to Wednesday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wright. Jiggs Bowman and son Ron left List Monday night for Cas tie Rock, Wash., to be with his father who is ill in Longview. Wash., hospital. Mrs. Bowman and the girls and Linda Rice went down Saturday morning with Mike Craig to Portland and will return Tuesday with Mr. Bowman. Rev. and Mrs. Robert Dove and family left early Monday morn ing for a month's vacation trip to visit their families in Mary land. Rev. Edwin Derrick will be in the pulpit of the Kinzua Community church during Rev. Dove's absence. In Heppner Saturday on busi , ness were Mrs. Don Slinkard, Mrs. Lee Bailey, Mrs. Howard Rice, Mrs. James Hulett, and Mrs. Arlet Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wham were the honored guests Saturday night when their friends feted them with a party at the Kinzua Golf Clubhouse honoring their 25th wedding anniversary. The buffet table was centered with an arrangement of white roses and a three-tiered cake. Music for dancing was supplied by Don Slinkard. Hostesses for this af fair were Pat Hyatt, Marie Wall, Arlene Schroeder, Virginia Kel so, Marj Boring, Vi Slinkard, Rita Bowman, and Becky Os trander. Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Turner of Prineville, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Prindle of Heppner, and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Schroe der of Omak, Wash. Mrs. Frank DeMeritt and Mrs. Earl Norris were in Heppner last Tuesday where Eva had medical care. The Camp 5 card club had its regular meeting Wednesday evening at the Camp 5 Commu nity hall with Frances White a3 hostess for the evening. High was won by Dolores Wlmer, low by Marie Hulett, and pinochle by Pat Van Arsdale and Betty Murdock. A gift shower was held for Sharon Hell who recently moved to Portland. Mm. IVn.il White and daugh ter Susan and Mm. Mrs. Richard Mortlmore was the hostess Jrldav for a birth day party for her son Earl, who was seven years old. After Earl opened his many gifts, birthdav cake and ice cream were served to Earl.
