July 4. 1968 3-Year Sentence Given Defendant Dustin Shirley, who had plead ed guilty to a charge of burg lary not In a dwelling, was sen tenced to three years in the Ore. gon State Correctional Institute at Salem In Morrow county cir cuit court here Tuesday by judge William wens. Shirley had entered the guilty plea to the charge on March 7 in circuit court. He allegedly took a sum of cash and some credit cards from the Van Winkle Motel here at an earlier date. After entering plea, he was free after posting bail. However, the man laces an other sentence in Umatilla coun ty on a separate charge, and was to appear In circuit court there Tuesday afternoon.
