MICHAEL PARHISH (Virginia Moore)) (Photo by Laura) Ginny Moore Bride Of Michael Parrish A summer setting of yellow and white was chosen by Miss Virginia Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie W. (Tim) Moore, lor her marriage on Saturday, June 15, to W. Michael Parrish, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Par rish of Condon. Vows were exchanged at an 11:00 a.m. nuptial mass at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Cele brant for the double ring cere mony was the Rev. Raymond H. Beard. Altar attendants were Robert Moore, ' brother of the bride, and Davey Gonzalez, Fres no, Calif., nephew of the groor). Decorating the main altar were two large floral arrange ments of yellow daisies, with smaller matching arrangements at the side altars. The bride, given in marriage by her father, appeared in a floor-length gown of white lace, styled with elbow-length sleeves and oval neckline which was deep cut in back. Back of the A-line skirt featured three bouf fant tiers of lace which extend ed into a short train. Her full, trailing veil of silk illusion was held by a headpiece of daisies which matched the bridal bou quet of yellow daisies and fern which she carried. Special ac cessories were pearl earrings, a gift of the groom, a gold cross belonging to her grandmother, and a blue garter made by an aunt of the bride. Miss Marguerite Moore at tended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Theresa Moore, also sister of the bride, Mrs. Archie Ball, Pendleton, and Mrs. Darrell Watson, La Grande. The honor attendants wore matching floor length A-line gowns of yellow crepe chiara, trimmed at the neckline, around the short sleeves and at the hemline with white daisies. They wore headpieces of white daisies and carried arm bou quets, also of white daisies. Best man was Patrick Tierney of Condon. Serving as ushers were Rick Stinchfield and Curtis Potter, both of Condon, and David Gon zales, Fresno, Calif., brother-in-law of the groom. Wedding selections were play ed by Mrs. Rose Marie Stroeber, organist. Soloist was Miss Lynne Mathews of Pilot Rock. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Moore wore a pink lace coat and dress ensemble with matching accessories. Mrs. Par rish, mother of the groom, chose a blue linen suit with matching accessories. The couple greeted their wed ding guests at a reception in the parish hall. Centering the large refreshment table was a four-tiered white wedding cake, topped with fresh daisies, which were also used to encircle the base of the cake. The chosen yellow and white colors were carried out in other arrange ments about the room. Cutting the cake were Mrs. Edward Davis and Mrs. Milton Perry, both of Pendleton, Mrs. Larry Moore, Salem, and Mrs. Dale Fullerton, Kennewick, Wash., all aunts of the bride. Pouring were Mrs. Therese Sager and Mrs. Bernadette En bysk, both of Pendleton. Mrs. Jeannine Kennings, Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. Paul Koster, Portland, all aunts of the bride. Miss Marilyn Lee, Baker, and Miss Jennifer Brindle, Heppner, attended the gift table. Reception hostess was Mrs. Pat Laing, Richland, Wn., cous in of the bride, and general wedding co-ordinator was Mrs. Jack Healy, Heppner. For their wedding trip to Coeur d' Alene Lake, the new Mrs. Parrish changed to an or ange coat and dress ensemble with matching accessories. The couple Is residing during the summer months in Condon, where the groom is employed. Following her graduation from Heppner High school In 1964', the bride attended four years of college at Eastern Oregon Col lege, La Grande. She graduat ed this year with a Bachelor of Arts degree In Education. The groom attended Gonzaga University, Spokane, and East ern Oregon College. Little Shelley Dawn Stroe ber. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Stroeber, was the center of attention as she celebrated her first birthday, and the occasion also honored Mrs. Norah Ras mus, great aunt of Mrs. Stroe ber. on her birthday. Shelley's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cecil of Spray, and Mrs. Rose Marie Stroeber, Heppner, were also present. Others were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gates, Spray; Mr. and Mrs. Ver non Cecil, Gordon and Norene, Heppner; Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Cecil and Becky, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Buschke, Tanna and Britt, all of John Day; Claude Buschke, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Cecil and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Padberg, all of Heppner, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Colley, Lexington.
