Cele brant for the 2:00 P m. double ring ceremony was Father Ray mond H. Beard. The brido Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Scalese, Port land, and formerly of Pendleton. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gardner, Heppner. Providing a floral setting for the summer ceremony were tall standards holding spires of pink and white gladioli, accented with white satin bows, and flanked by white tapers in candelabra.
